Megan Mahncke is the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Intermountain Health, where she leads enterprise-wide branding, marketing, strategic messaging, and community health initiatives. A collaborative and visionary leader, Megan is dedicated to aligning communications with Intermountain Health’s mission, values, and strategic priorities while fostering strong partnerships across the organization.

In her role, Megan drives brand unification, organizational storytelling, and high-impact engagement strategies that enhance Intermountain Health’s reputation and influence. She works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure purposeful messaging, impactful campaigns, and seamless communication across the system’s six-state footprint.

Megan also oversees Community Health, providing strategic leadership, building key external relationships, and evaluating programs that improve healthcare access and outcomes. Her work is instrumental in fostering community partnerships and initiatives that drive meaningful change. She serves as the president of the Intermountain Community Care Fund, which focuses on social drivers of health and aligns with support partners working to meet the needs identified in the Community Health Needs Assessment.

She holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications from Colorado State University. Committed to community service, Megan serves on multiple nonprofit boards and remains actively engaged in advancing healthcare initiatives. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, cheering them on at their sporting events.
