Tom Kourlis is a Project Leader & the Local Work Lead at BCG Denver, specializing in startup, deeptech, and government consulting since 2019. He has led projects with BCG’s startup accelerator, and managed various strategy, change management and pro-bono cases, notably supporting Colorado's successful quantum tech hub bid, unlocking $40M in federal funds, and aiding the Denver mayor’s transition. As Local Work Lead, Tom enhances local engagement through projects with government, non-profits, and private entities in Colorado.

Before BCG, Tom worked on his family’s sheep and cattle ranch in NW Colorado, managing livestock, construction projects, and hay crews. He continues his agricultural ties through his non-profit, Western Heritage Day, promoting agricultural education for urban youth.

Tom holds a degree in history from Stanford University.
