As a mission-based leader, Amanda Blaurock is renowned for her innovative risk-taking, creative problem-solving of complex societal challenges, and unwavering fiscal accountability. With a keen ability to develop and lead dynamic teams, Amanda has utilized her extensive legal and management skills to foster environments that drive impactful change through innovative, results-driven strategies.
With a professional journey spanning over 23 years, Amanda has adeptly navigated local, state, and federal government landscapes, providing leadership in crisis and emergency response and forging sustainable partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
Currently, Amanda is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Village Exchange Center in Aurora and Denver, Colorado. Under her leadership, the center has empowered communities through tailored programs, services and cash assistance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she managed a budget of $13.6 million to serve over 10,000 immigrants and refugees. Amanda also oversees multiple locations, including a community center, a satellite office, an urban-farm location, and a significant capital campaign for facility improvements—now serving over 60,000 individuals.
Amanda's legal career is equally distinguished. As Managing Partner of Rock Partners PC, she provides general counsel services to individuals managing complex litigation and international asset portfolios. Her previous roles include serving as Of Counsel at Finnegan LLP, specializing in international intellectual property litigation for Fortune 100 companies spanning multiple sectors. Prior to this role she served 5 years in the United States Government, managing international trade and intellectual property litigation for the United States Department of Commerce and the United States International Trade Commission.
She actively serves on various boards and municipal and community coalitions, including Citywide Bank’s Advisory Board, the Anti-Defamation League, Jewish Colorado’s Real Estate and Construction Committee, and is the current Chair of the Board of Denver Film. She is a recognized leader, honored with the Denver Business Journal’s 2024 Most Admired CEO, and 2024 Partners in Philanthropy awards, 2024 Adams County-REP Gamechangers Award, 2024 Colorado Titan 100 award, and the City of Aurora's Everyday Hero award, among others.
Amanda holds a Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. She is an active member of the bars in California, the District of Columbia, and Colorado.
In Amanda’s free time, she loves sailing and film and co-produced and executive produced a short documentary, “My Father’s House,” that premiered at the Denver Film festival in 2020, and went on to win the Emerging Filmmaker Jury award at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival, American Pavilion.
