John (Tony) Mayer
Former Managing Director and CEO, J.P. Morgan Capital Corporation
Mr. Mayer spent his entire 35-year career with J.P. Morgan, fifteen of which was in Europe and the balance in New York. He was a member of the management Committee of the firm for 11 years serving successively as Chief Executive of the Investment Bank, CFO of the Company and CEO of the Private Equity Investment business.
Mr. Mayer has served on a number of not-for-profit boards, most notably the Princeton University Investment Company, which manages the Princeton endowment, and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation where he was a trustee for 14 years and Chairman of the Board for four years. He is currently a Director and former Chairman of UpTogether, a national not-for-profit which helps families emerge from poverty, and serves on the Strategy Board for No Labels.
Mr. Mayer is a graduate of Princeton University and the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Mayer and his wife Barbie recently moved to Denver to be closer to their children and grandchildren
